Recently the Historic Schools Restoration Project and the Methodist Church delivered a presentation on the future of the iconic Healdtown Comprehensive School near Fort Beaufort in the Eastern Cape, Madiba’s Alma Mater. ‘Re-imagining Healdtown’ includes the evolution of Healdtown into a Maths, Science and Technology focus school and institution of excellence, and the reintroduction of boarding facilities for boys and girls.
